So, not to sound too cliche or anything but ya...I caught the #fluepidemic. I am now alive and well, and have lived to tell the harrowing tale; days upon days of gallons of green tea, Lush bath bombs, Disney movie marathons, and lots and lots of soup. (Ya know, minus the 103 fever, that sounds like a pretty damn good time to me.) When my Mom finally agreed to let me outta the house, I decided that I should muster up as much style as humanly possible in my fragile condition. And here I am; evidence to YOU that sickness does not have to hinder our chicness, ladies. I threw on a breezy printed maxi, a big fuzzy coat, and a comfy pair of flat booties. Got my hair up and outta my face with my “Double Buns” and added a swipe of dramatic lipstick to distract from my flushed with fever complexion. VOILA! It really is true, isn’t it? When ya look better, you just feel better. Ah...the mighty and mysterious force of fashion strikes again ;)
Vintage coat. Vintage dress. Vintage boots. DAMN...total cost: $15. BOO-YAH.
Until next time,
Chelsea
